Optimal Strategy in Blackjack

I'm writing an algorithm to calculate optimal blackjack strategies based on the running count. I'm also learning to count cards. I plan on determining if it is possible to have an advantage purely by playing the optimal strategy based on the count. Also, I want to know, if not, how much do I need to spread my bet in order to gain an edge.
